Note that manipulation of the spine and extremities, rehabilitation exercise, therapeutic massage, education on healthy lifestyle and hot/cold therapy are the top 5 sought after package of care. Superficial heat, spinal manipulation, massage, exercise and education (reassurance, stay active, stress management, etc) are all evidence based treatments that were recommended in the recent Lancet Low Back Pain Series. The basics such as the conservative care that chiropractors offer is often best medicine for spine pain and musculoskeletal disorders.
