Introduction

Welcome to the largest chiropractic social learning network dedicated towards bridging the gap from research to practice for evidence (science) based chiropractors. We have over 12k members from all regions of the world. All members must read this unit prior to joining our discussions.


We encourage our members to develop and practice their critical thinking, clinical reasoning and analytical skills. Evidence based chiropractors embrace the biopsychosocial paradigm. We welcoming those who share our values to critically and respectfully and explores issues germane to the #EPIC principles we endorse. These principles include evidence based, patient centered, interdisciplinary, collaborative chiropractic care. We are an international, global group and we respect cultural differences that may come with being such a diverse group of practitioners, students, educators, regulators and scientists across our profession.

We are a Network of Professionals

Members of the EBC community shall abide by the professional standards set forth by your regulatory board. This includes standards pertaining to professional conduct. Please refrain from using personal attacks, abusive language or any other conduct that may be against your regulatory board.

Diversity and Freedom of Speech

Members of EBC shall respect diversity in the profession as it relates to race, religion, gender, culture, sexual orientation and identity. Hate speech and bullying members will not be tolerated. Debate, don’t debase.

Respect of Primary Care, Contact and Allied Health Professionals

As professionals, we shall respect our colleagues in primary and allied health care. Any posts or comments that debases or unreasonably attacks other health care professions will be removed.

Privacy and Confidentiality

The information shared in this group is for educational and professional development purposes. Members shall not share or reproduce materials from the EBC FB group without asking for permission or given express permission to do so by the original poster. If materials are shared with permission, members shall give attribution to the content creators or original poster in keeping with best practices.

Posting in the EBCN social channels

To be in compliance with HIPPA, PHIPPA, GDPR and other privacy measures on personal health information, members must ensure there's no patient ID on any images or comments that is posted. We ask you to follow our clinical template when presenting a case study to group. This ensures a good learning experience for all and that the comments are informed. Please be prepared to support all claims with accurate, reliable and verifiable information.

Grounds for Removal from the EBCN

This list is not exhaustive, and includes:

Fake profile, sock puppet account

Blocking the administrators and moderators

Harassment, personal attacks, bullying on any other unprofessional behaviours that breaks reasonable code of conduct.

Unapproved use of screen grabs from the group

Misrepresentation of your clinical practice in a way that that the practitioner maybe in violation of their regulatory board (e.g. false and misleading claims, adjustments boost immunity, etc

Loss of license or instances of severe professional discipline

1. Referrals to Practitioners

When looking for referrals check the left hand search box first. Plug in the name of the city, street name, postal code, etc and see if there’s already a previous thread.

2. Posts about Electronic Health Records (EHR)

There have been several discussions on this topic. Please search the left hand search bar in the Facebook group for “EHR” and past discussions will come up. Consider this is an international group and some regulatory boards require EHR software for chiropractors to have servers in their country of origin.

3. Can I sell or advertise equipment, practice, locums, etc?

The moderation team must approve any posts. Please include pictures of your item or service.
