Canadian chiropractic scientists secure grant from EUROSPINE to conduct systematic review on Post Surgical Rehabilitation for Low Back Pain.

Learn more about the CCGI here

"Worldwide, a considerable number of surgeries are performed each year for the management of people with LBP with or without radiculopathy. Findings from this systematic review will advance our knowledge on the effectiveness and safety of a wide range of post-surgical rehabilitation interventions for people with LBP with or without radiculopathy, as well as improve our understanding of patients’ experiences and perceptions of rehabilitation interventions. This work will provide the evidentiary basis to develop clinical recommendations and user-friendly care pathways, which can be adapted for specific settings (e.g., rehabilitation clinics, hospital, and workplaces) . This work is novel because we will investigate rehabilitation from a clinical, community-based, and patient perspective, and we will map and interpret our quantitative and qualitative findings according to the International Classification of Health, Functioning, and Disability (ICF) framework."
