EBC Archives: 2013: 8 Standards for EBC Scholars (where did the other 3 go?! 🙂

1. We are all doctors of chiropractic.  We are on the same team and are working to achieve the same goal, that chiropractors are integral part of every humans health care team.

2. Hold yourself up to the same standard of practice for professionalism and ethics on this group as you do for your respective province/state regulatory board

3. Debates are welcome and are a byproduct of differing opinions and perspectives.  No personal attacks, ad hominems.  Do not use logical fallacies.  Think critically.  You can disagree without being disagreeable.

4. Those who make a claim carry the burden of providing evidence to support it.  Informed opinions > uninformed opinions

5. As a self-regulatory profession, we carry the ethical responsibility to ensure clinical competence, professionalism and ethics.  Do not denigrate other health care professions when a criticism is launched at chiropractic.  It is appropriate, however, to provide comparative evaluations between approaches done in an objective manner.
