CCGI Guideline Summary


"The CCGI has released a new guideline summary thanks to contributions from CMCC student Richard Seto. This guideline provides recommendations regarding the diagnosis and treatment of dyslipidemia and prevention of cardiovascular disease. The target users are individuals with various lipid disorders including individuals with diabetes, familial hypercholesterolemia, women and youth with dyslipidemia. Some of the included recommendations are beyond the scope of practice of rehabilitation professionals; however, they were included for informational purposes.
